Abstract
CONTROLE MELHORADO DE IDENTIFICADORES EXCLUSIVOS PARA ESTAÇÕES. A presente invenção refere-se a métodos, sistemas e meios legíveis por computador que podem ser operáveis para facilitar uma troca de mensagens entre um ponto de acesso e uma estação, em que o ponto de acesso solicita um identificador exclusivo da estação. A estação pode responder com uma mensagem se recusando a fornecer um identificador exclusivo ou responder com uma mensagem incluindo um identificador exclusivo a ser usado pelo ponto de acesso para a estação. A resposta da estação pode incluir limitações adicionais sobre o uso de identificador exclusivo pelo ponto de acesso. O ponto de acesso pode impor políticas diferentes a uma estação dependendo de como a estação responde à solicitação de identificador exclusivo.
