Abstract
Um radome pode incluir um núcleo e um componente de adaptação de constante dielétrica externa (ODC) sobreposto a uma superfície externa do núcleo. O radome pode ter um perfil de variação da constante dielétrica eficaz de uma superfície externa do componente de adaptação de ODC, através do componente de adaptação de ODC para uma superfície externa do núcleo. O perfil de variação da constante dielétrica eficaz do componente de adaptação de ODC pode ser uma função monotônica contínua¿DC¿_((ot)), em que ¿DC¿_((ot)) é a constante dielétrica do componente de adaptação de ODC no valor ot, em que ot é uma razão OTL/OTT, OTL é um local dentro do componente de variação de ODC medido a partir da superfície externa do componente de variação de ODC, e OTT é a espessura total da adaptação de ODC.
