Abstract
PRODUÇÃO DE HMF CATALISADO POR MISTURA DE SAL E ÁCIDO. A presente invenção se refere a um processo para a produção de 5-hidroximetilfurfural (HMF) que transforma um componente contendo frutose utilizando um sistema catalisador compreendendo uma mistura de sal e ácido, a uma temperatura de 90 até 200 °C, levando à obtenção de uma mistura de produtos contendo HMF, onde, vantajosamente, é alcançada uma alta seletividade para HMF e ao mesmo tempo uma formação de subprodutos consideravelmente menor.
