A invenção refere-se a uma peça de desgaste de penetração no solo para equipamentos de terraplanagem que inclui uma tampa recebida em uma abertura para se sobrepor a uma trava e/ou sensor. A tampa pode engatar uma trava para facilitar o movimento da trava ou um componente de trava sem a necessidade de remover a tampa, proteger um sensor subjacente e/ou limitar a entrada de partículas finas.
