Abstract
A presente invenção se refere a um método para preparar metacrilato de metila a partir de metacroleína e metanol. O método compreende colocar uma mistura que compreende metacroleína, metanol e oxigênio em contato com um catalisador heterogêneo que compreende um suporte e um metal nobre, em que a concentração de oxigênio em uma saída do reator é de 1 a 7,5% em mol, e em que o pH em uma saída do reator é de até 7,5.
