Abstract

A presente invenção se refere a um dispositivo de coleta de combustível (11) para um tanque de combustível (10) compreende um boia (17) disposto para subir e descer com o nível de combustível (F) no tanque (10) e uma pluralidade de tubos flexíveis alongados (l6a, l6b) que se estendem em espiral da bóia (17) para uma saída de combustível (15) do dispositivo (11), a bóia (17) sendo disposta para movimento geralmente vertical dentro de uma manga aberta (13). Os tubos flexíveis (l6a, l6b) são suficientemente finos para permitir que a bóia (I7) suba e desça livremente com o nível do combustível (F). No entanto, a área da seção transversal combinada dos canos fornecida pela pluralidade de tubos flexíveis (l6a, l6b) é suficiente para permitir que o combustível seja retirado do tanque a uma alta vazão suficiente para grandes motores.
