Abstract
Um método para reforçar uma laje de material de pedra natural ou artificial compreendendo as etapas de: a) vedar a superfície não visível (16) da laje e, onde necessário, as superfícies das bordas (18, 20, 22, 24); b) posicionar a laje (12) sobre uma superfície de suporte (26), com a superfície visível (14) dirigida para cima); c) fornecer um cordão de adesivo compressível (28) sobre a superfície visível (14), nas proximidades da borda perimetral da laje (12); d) distribuir uma resina (30) sobre a superfície visível (14), na zona limitada pelo cordão de adesivo (28); e) em condições de vácuo, dispor no topo da laje uma folha (32) de material antiadesivo e então aplicar pressão sobre o cordão e resina por meio de um êmbolo de pressão (50); f) recuperar a pressão atmosférica; g) endurecer a resina (30); e h) usinar em acabamento a laje (12).
