Abstract

A presente invenção descreve um motor de combustão interna (IC) (101) de um veículo (100) para transmissão de potência eficiente e automática. O motor de combustão interna (IC) (101) compreende um mecanismo de trem de engrenagens de velocidade única (411, 412) e uma caixa de marchas adicional removível (200). A caixa de marchas adicional (200) compreende um mecanismo de trem de engrenagens secundário (416a, 417) que se combina seletivamente com o mecanismo de trem de engrenagens de velocidade única (411, 412) durante uma faixa de operação predeterminada do motor IC (101). O sistema supracitado, através da caixa de marchas adicional (200), varia automaticamente o torque com base na velocidade do motor de combustão interna (IC) (101). Além disso, a presente invenção fornece facilidade de manutenção e desmontagem. Por fim, o desempenho do motor IC (101) melhora com a presente invenção.
