Abstract
Uma interface superior para riser submarino em embarcação flutuante de exploração e produção em alto-mar é dotada de um funil superior e um funil inferior coaxial em relação espaçada. As cargas de tensão no riser reagem no funil superior, enquanto as cargas laterais e de flexão reagem no funil inferior. A interface superior do riser pode ser usada com risers flexíveis ou risers de catenária de aço.
