Abstract
Composições de materiais argilosos intercalados com ureia e/ou um outro material ou combinação de materiais são debatidas. Por exemplo, a composição pode compreender de cerca de 20% a cerca de 65% em peso de ureia intercalada, com respeito ao peso total da composição. A intercalação pode ser obtida, por exemplo, triturando-se as partículas de argila com um ou mais outros materiais, tal que o(s) outro(s) material(is) seja/sejam intercalado(s) dentro das partículas de argila. A composição pode ser formada em grânulos formulados para a liberação controlada de ureia, por exemplo, para fertilizar solo.
