Abstract
Trata-se de agentes de RNAi para inibir a expressão do gene de antitripsina alfa-1 (AAT), composições incluindo agentes de RNAi de AAT, e métodos de uso. Revelam-se, também, composições farmacêuticas incluindo um ou mais agentes de RNAi de AAT juntos a um ou mais excipientes capazes de entregar os agentes de RNAi a uma célula hepática in vivo. A entrega dos agentes de RNAi de AAT a células hepáticas in vivo inibe a expressão de gene de AAT e trata doenças associadas à deficiência de AAT tais como hepatite crônica, cirrose, carcinoma hepatocelular, transaminite, colestase, fibrose e insuficiência hepática fulminante.
