Abstract

A presente invenção refere-se as composições nutricionais contendo butirato dietético ou lactoferrina. São ainda descritos métodos para redução da incidência de obesidade e síndrome metabólica em um indivíduo alvo através da administração da composição nutricional contendo butirato dietético ao indivíduo alvo. São ainda providos métodos para melhorar o funcionamento do tecido adiposo em um indivíduo alvo.
