Abstract
A presente invenção se refere a uma composição farmacêutica a qual é para prevenção ou tratamento de câncer cerebral e inclui pelo menos 99% de um polimorfo de cristal a de hexóxido tetra-arsênico (As4O6-a) e a um método para preparação da mesma. Uma composição de acordo com a presente invenção exibe excelentes efeitos de inibição da proliferação de células cancerosas e metástase e, deste modo, pode ser empregada de forma útil como um agente antineoplásico.
