Abstract
A presente invenção refere-se a uma composição farmacêutica para prevenção ou tratamento de câncer de mama que inclui hexóxido tetra-arsênico, em que um polimorfo cristalino a (As4O6-a) de hexóxido tetra-arsênico está presente em 99 % ou maior, e a um método para produzir a mesma. A composição da presente invenção exibe excelentes efeitos de inibição da proliferação e a metástase de células cancerosas e, deste modo, pode ser empregada de forma útil como um agente anticâncer.
