Abstract
São providos aqui métodos e aparelho para a identificação de microrganismos patogênicos e não patogênicos em amostras de alimento e de ambiente. O relatório soluciona os desafios existentes encontrados na identificação de patógenos de origem alimentar, incluindo patógenos dos gêneros Salmonella, Campylobacter, Listeria, e Escherichia em uma maneira oportuna e eficiente. O relatório provê também métodos para diferenciar um patógeno transiente versus um patógeno residente, correlacionando a presença de microrganismos não patogênicos com microrganismos patogênicos, distinguindo microrganismo vivos versus mortos por sequenciamento.
