Abstract
A presente invenção refere-se a um dispositivo de retransmissão sem fio que pode receber uma requisição indicando que um dispositivo sem fio tem uma ou mais mensagens tolerantes a atraso a serem encaminhadas para uma rede. O dispositivo de retransmissão sem fio pode enviar uma mensagem de resposta ao dispositivo sem fio indicativa de um tempo estimado para contato de rede. O dispositivo de retransmissão sem fio, então, recebe e armazena em cache as mensagens tolerantes a atraso a serem encaminhadas. O dispositivo de retransmissão sem fio pode encaminhar pelo menos uma das uma ou mais mensagens tolerantes a atraso.
