Abstract

Eixo para veículos ferroviários, feitos de material tratado termicamente, onde em todas as partes cilíndricas (2a) e as partes de transição (2b) ao longo de todo o comprimento (L) da superfície do eixo (1) a superfície do eixo (1) é formada por uma camada indutivamente endurecida reforçada (2) tendo uma profundidade uniforme a partir da superfície do eixo (1) e esta camada indutivamente endurecida (2) continua com uma camada de transição (3) com um gradiente de reforço gradualmente decrescente. A profundidade da camada de transição (3) é igual a pelo menos 1,5 vezes da profundidade da camada indutivamente endurecida (2).
