Abstract

Um núcleo de papelão (5) é descrito acima que é projetado para receber um fio (10) enrolado sobre o mesmo, tal como um fio elastomérico (10) que conta com atrito para enrolamento apropriado do fio (10) sobre o núcleo (5). Em particular, o núcleo (5) inclui uma camada externa de papel revestido com argila (30) que é capaz de fornecer encaixe por atrito direto do núcleo (5) com o fio (10), de tal maneira que o fio (10) é enrolável sobre o núcleo (5) por meio de contato direto entre a camada externa revestida com argila (30) e o fio (10). Deste modo, não existe necessidade com relação a usar uma película sobre a superfície externa (15) do núcleo (5) a fim de obter as propriedades de atrito desejadas que resultarão em enrolamento apropriado do fio (10) sobre o núcleo (5).
