No presente documento, são descritos tubos de proteção de calor corrugados e métodos para a produção dos mesmos. Os tubos de proteção de calor têm resistência ao calor melhorada, resistência à abrasão melhorada, e minimizam ou eliminam a exposição do trabalhador a fibras de vidro expelidas a partir de materiais isolantes. Os tubos de proteção de calor corrugados podem ser usados em aplicações automotivas, de transporte e industriais, para citar apenas algumas.
