A presente tecnologia é dirigida a pigmentos vermelhos e violeta de tonalidade vermelha com uma estrutura ABO3 hexagonal da forma Y(In, M)O3, na qual M é substituído por In no sítio bipiramidal B trigonal da estrutura ABO3 e onde M é uma mistura que contém Co2+ e íons de compensação de carga ou M é uma mistura que contém Co2+ e íons de compensação de carga, bem como outros íons aliovalentes e isovalentes.
