Abstract
A tecnologia atual é direcionada a um pigmento de delafossite de cobre alumínio substituído por ferro, assim como sua versão de galato. Em particular, os materiais podem ser definidos como delafossite de cobre alumínio substituído por ferro, CuFexA11-xO2 e o galato, CuFexGa1 xO2 onde X = 0,01 a 1,00, por exemplo, CuFe0,15Al0,85O2, e CuFe0,15Ga0,85O2. Os pigmentos são de marrom escuro a preto, absorvem a maior parte da luz no espectro visível, mas possuem baixa absorvência e alta refletância nas regiões do infravermelho próximo, especificamente a luz de cerca de 700 nm a 2500 nm.
