Abstract
Uma ferramenta cirúrgica para extrair uma esfera acetabular de uma taça acetabular em uma prótese de quadril de implantada em que a esfera acetabular é afixada por meio de um cone Morse para uma haste que se estende do fundo da porção côncava da taça acetabular. A ferramenta cirúrgica permite que o cirurgião remova a esfera sem puxar a taça acetabular e sem interromper nenhuma incorporação óssea porque a ferramenta mantém pressão na taça enquanto exerce uma pressão oposta puxando a esfera.
