Abstract
Uma ferramenta cirúrgica e método para separar uma taça femoral ou uma esfera femoral de um implante femoral implantado sem perturbar o implante femoral. A ferramenta é composta de braços de alavanca superior e inferior que se transformam em um ponto de apoio ajustável. O braço de alavanca superior tem uma extremidade distal adaptada para engatar uma taça femoral ou uma esfera femoral e a extremidade distal do braço de alavanca inferior engata o implante. As extremidades proximais dos braços de alavanca engatam um conjunto de acionamento que é usado para fazer com que as extremidades distais se afastem umas das outras, separando, deste modo, a taça ou a esfera femoral do implante femoral.
