Abstract
Um sistema aglomerante para materiais refratários utilizados em pro-cessos de fundição em areia, especialmente sistemas aglomerantes à base de po-liuretana em duas partes utilizados no processo em caixa fria (?cold box?) ou sem queima (?no bake?), possui menos reação metal-molde quando uma terceira parte é utilizada. A terceira parte é um silicato de alquila, tal como ortossilicato de tetraetila (?TEOS?), um ortoformato de alquila, tal como ortoformato de trimetila (TMOF) ou or-toformato de trietila (TEOF) ou combinações dos mesmos.
