Abstract
A presente invenção se refere a aparelho e método relacionado que empregam pressão fluida para primeiro separar o compartimento de acumulação de água do compartimento de filtragem de um conjunto de filtro pelo fechamento de passagens de fluxo de fluido que permitem que a água flua para o compartimento de acumulação. Com os compartimentos separados, a pressão fluida é aplicada ao compartimento de acumulação para abrir uma válvula de drenagem e empurrar água para fora do compartimento de acumulação. O período no o qual a pressão é aplicada ao compartimento de acumulação pode ser regulado por sensores que detectam um nível baixo de água, ou pode ser cronometrado, ou ambos. Quando a remoção de água é concluída, a pressão fluida é removida e a comunicação fluida entre o compartimento de filtragem e o compartimento de acumulação de água é restaurada.
