Abstract

Método para monitorar o fluxo de fluido em um conduto (5) compreende: - acoplar acusticamente uma fibra óptica (11) ao conduto (5) adjacente a uma ou mais restrições de fluxo (R1-R4) no conduto; - induzir um conjunto de Sensoreação Acústica Distribuída (DAS) (12) para medir uma assinatura de ruído acústico (SNR1-4) gerada na fibra (11) pelo fluido fluindo através de cada restrição de fluxo (R1-R4); - derivar a vazão de fluido do fluido (QI, QI+II) fluindo através de cada restrição de fluxo (R1-R4) da assinatura de ruído acústico medido (SNR1-4); e - exibir a vazão de fluido derivado (QI, QI+II) em um visor de monitoramento de vazão de fluido.
