AbstractAn apparatus for printing leather including an ink acceptor applicator that applies ink directly onto a surface of the leather; an ink applicator that applies ink to the ink acceptor and/or the leather surface; an additive applicator that applies additive onto the ink acceptor, the ink and/or the leather surface; a barrier having a surface configured to contact the acceptor, ink and additive on the leather surface; and a heater that heats the surface of the barrier to a predetermined temperature or a temperature within a selected temperature range such that the barrier, which is substantially impervious to the ink and has a melting point higher than the select temperature range, contacts at least the acceptor ink and additive on the surface directly to liquify the acceptor ink and additive into the leather and the acceptor, ink and additive fuses and penetrates into the leather.TRADUÇÃO DO RESUMORESUMOPatente da Invenção: "IMPRESSÃO DE COURO". Trata-se de um aparelho para a impressão de couro que inclui um aplicador de aceitador de tinta que aplica tinta diretamente sobre uma superfície do couro; um aplicador de tinta que aplica tinta no aceitador de tinta e/ou na superfície de couro; um aplicador de aditivo que aplica aditivo sobre o aceitador de tinta, a tinta e/ou a superfície de couro; uma barreira que tem uma superfície configurada para entrar em contato com o aceitador, a tinta e o aditivo na superfície de couro; e um aquecedor que aquece a superfície da barreira até uma temperatura predeterminada ou até uma temperatura em uma faixa de temperatura selecionada de tal maneira que a barreira, que é substancialmente impermeável à tinta e tem um ponto de fusão superior à faixa de faixa de temperatura selecionada, entre em contato com, pelo menos, a tinta de aceitador e o aditivo na superfície diretamente a fim de liquefazer a tinta de aceitador e o aditivo no couro e o aceitador, a tinta e o aditivo se fundem e penetram no couro.1/4
