Abstract
RESUMO PROCESSO PARA PRODUZIR UM ÉSTER DE ÁCIDO GRAXO EPOXIDIZADO A PARTIR DE UMA GORDURA OU ÓLEO NATURAL EPOXIDIZADO A presente invenção relata que processos são descritos para produzir ésteres de ácido graxo epoxidizados a partir de gorduras e óleos naturais epoxidizados, em que as gorduras e óleos de baixa umidade são identificados e selecionados ou feitos e usados em um processo de transesterificação. Os produtos são submetidos à separação de fase e os excessos molares reduzidos de álcool podem ser empregados quando comparados a processos que não empregam uma matéria-prima de baixa umidade.
