FLUTUADOR DE SEGURANÇA PARA USO EM UMA ÁREA DE CORRENTE DE REDEMOINHO; E MÉTODO DE ASSEGURAR UMA ÁREA DE CORRENTE DE REDEMOINHO.Trata-se de um flutuador de segurança (100) para uso em uma área de corrente de redemoinho (35) que tem uma corrente de redemoinho que compreende uma seção de amura (110) e uma seção de popa (120). A seção de amura (110) é simplificada e a seção de popa (120) tem urna área de convés. O flutuador de segurança (100) é amarrado de modo vantajoso em uma área de corrente de redemoinhho (35) para que a amura simplificada esteja voltada, em geral, em direção ao mar para condições de ondulação oceânica de chegada, enquanto a área de convés da seção de popa (120) é voltada, em geral, em direção ao mar e fornece uma superfície para um banhista em perigo preso em uma corrente de redemoinho de partida.
