A presente invenção refere-se a um dispositivo que permite a produção termicamente durável de NO2, em conjunto com um desempenho de aquecimento eficiente para a regeneração de HC ( hidrocarbonetos) e de CO a baixa temperatura. De modo importante, ele fornece as duas funções, enquanto minimiza a utilização de PGM ( metais do grupo platina) e seu impacto associado sobre os custos do catalisador.
