Abstract
SUPORTE DE INSERTO PARA RETER UM INSERTO DE CORTE TANGENCIAL, E, FERRAMENTA DE CORTE. Uma ferramenta de corte (20) tem um suporte de inserto (22) para reter um inserto de corte tangencial (24) em uma cavidade de inserto (26). A cavidade de inserto tem uma superfície de fundo, uma superfície traseira e uma superfície de base. A superfície de base tem três protuberâncias de contato (52,54,56) que se estendem a partir da superfície de base (40). Cada protuberância de contato de base tem uma superfície de contato de base respectiva. As três superfícies de contato de base contatm no inserto de corte em três pontos para prover assentamento estável do inserto de corte na cavidade de inserto.
