Abstract
CÉLULA HOSPEDEIRAMICRFOBIANA RECOMBINANTE E MÉTODO PARA A PRODUÇÃO DE UM ÓLEO MICROBIANO COMPREENDENDO ÁCIDO EICOSAPENTAENÓICO. São divulgadas na presente invenção cepas geneticamente manipuladas da levedura oleaginosa Yarrowia lipolytica que são capazes de produzir óleo microbiano compreendendo mais do que 25 por cento em peso de ácido eicosapentaenóico ["EPA'], um ácido graxo poli-insaturado ômega-3,mensurado como uma percentagem em peso celular seco.
