Abstract
COMPONENTE DE METAL REVESTIDO E ARTIGO DE METAL REVESTIDO. Uma composição de revestimento de um componente, com estabilidade de armazenamento, secável a ar e formador de filme revestível com látex hidrotransportado, tendo disperso dentro do mesmo uma quantidade suficiente de material condutor para fornecer uma camada de tinta de fundo de uso industrial endurecido autossoldável quando aplicado a componentes de metal. Os componentes preparados dessa forma podem ser soldados uns aos outros com o uso de equipamentos automatizados de solda a arco sem a necessidade de remover a composição de revestimento no local da soldagem. O material condutor causa, desejavelmente, pouca ou nenhuma emissão aerotransportada de quantidades perigosa de metais pesados ou de outras substâncias nocivas quando a tinta de fundo é volatizada ou queimada durante a soldagem.
