Abstract
MÉTODO DE TRATAMENTO E UTILIZAÇÃO DE PICHE DE TAIL OIL. No presente método, uma parte de ácidos graxos e ácidos resinosos é liberada de seus ésteres de esterol e ésteres de metanol e convertida em ésteres de metanol ou ésteres de etanol. Os produtos transesterificados são removidos do piche mediante evaporação e depois são condensados, e através da hidrogenação do condensado gerado, os ácidos são descarboxilados e as duplas ligações satisfeitas. É possível a utilização do presente método para a produção de combustível automotivo, a partir do piche de tall oil.
