TAMANHO SINTONIZÁVEL DE MATERIAL NANOATIVO SOBRE NANOSSUPORTE. As modalidades das presentes invenções estão direcionadas a um catalisador avançado. O catalisador avançado inclui uma estrutura de colméia com pelo menos uma nanopartícula sobre a estrutura de colméia. O catalisador avançado utilizado em motores a diesel é um catalisador de duas vias. O catalisador avançado utilizado em motores a gasolina é um catalisador de três vias. Tanto no catalisador de duas vias quanto no catalisador de três vias, a pelo menos uma nanopartícula inclui um material nanoativo e um nanossuporte. O nanossuporte tipicamente é a alumina. No catalisador de três vias, o material nanoativo é a platina, o paládio, o ródio, ou uma liga. A liga é de platina, paládio e ródio.
