São providas composições biocidas compreendendo 2,2-dibromo3-nitrilopropionamida e um composto selecionado do grupo consistindo de 1-(3-cloroalil)-3,5,7-triaza-1-azoniaadamantano; tris(hidroximetil)-nitrometano; e um composto de hexaidrotriazina. As composições são úteis para o controle de microorganismos em sistemas aquosos ou contendo água.
