A presente invenção descreve um método para ajustar dinamicamente mecanismos de economia de energia em dispositivos Dual-SIM, considerando intercomunicações entre diferentes redes 5G e além. Especificamente, a presente invenção detalha a sinalização e metodologia para operação inter-redes quanto à utilização do recurso proposto. Particularmente, a presente invenção refere-se a um método de sinalização para permitir a operação no modo de pilha única (SSM) para economia de energia em dispositivos Dual- SIM.
