A tecnologia apresentada no presente documento terá início automático de tempo de resfriamento e desligamento autônomo de UPA logo após a partida dos motores principais caso a UPA não esteja fornecendo energia alguma à aeronave, tal como pneumática, elétrica, etc. A unidade de controle de UPA não aguardará a entrada de piloto para iniciar o tempo de resfriamento, a mesma será iniciada automaticamente. Paralelamente, a unidade de controle também definirá o desligamento autônomo de UPA. Então, após o tempo de espera, a UPA será desligada se o piloto não realizar qualquer ação.
