MÓDULO DE TRAVAMENTO LATERAL PARA RISERS RÍGIDOS. O Módulo de Travamento Lateral (MTL) é um dispositivo que tem a função de suportar as cargas de momento fletor e cortante da terminação do riser rígido evitando problemas de fadiga e degaste movimentação e choque internamente ao tubo suporte. O MTL é acionado remotamente da unidade de produção na etapa final de pull-in sem a necessidade de mergulho ou diretamente por ROV. O MTL também permite o destravamento lateral do riser sem mergulho.
