PROCESSO DE PREPARAÇÃO DE MATERIAL COMPÓSITO DE CARVÃO VEGETAL/ALUMINA SOL-GEL. A tecnologia trata-se de um novo processo para obtenção de um material compósito de carvão vegetal preparado a 850º C e alumina, no qual na rede carbonácea do carvão é sintetizada alumina pelo método sol-gel. A adição da alumina na estrutura do carvão torna-se um promotor de estrutura, conferindo uma resistência mecânica média superior ao carvão puro e com acréscimo de área específica.
