MESA METÁLICA. A mesa tem uma estrutura de suporte (10) que compreende: longarinas (11), tendo faces laterais internas, nas quais são soldados os extremos de travessas extremas (12) e de travessas intermediárias (13); e quatro pernas (14), cada uma tendo uma porção extrema superior soldada contra uma das longarinas (11) e contra uma travessa extrema (12). Um tampo (20) compreende: uma porção plana (21), assentada sobre as longarinas (11) e sobre as travessas extremas (12) e intermediárias (13); uma borda contornante (22) assentada contra a face externa de uma ou de ambas as longarina (11) e das travessas extremas (12); e uma aba inferior (23) que se estende da borda contornante (22) e que é assentada e soldada contra uma face inferior de uma ou ambas as longarinas (11) e das travessas extremas (12).
