A presente invenção refere-se a um sistema de movimentação de portas (20) de vagão que compreende uma catraca (70) com pelo menos um passo modificado (80) configurado para manter uma porta de vagão (32) em uma posição aberta com folga visual. Além disso, é descrito um método de movimentação de portas de vagão que visa garantir que a porta atinja um modo de operação completamente fechado.
