Abstract

"VÁLVULA PARA MOTORES DE COMBUSTÃO INTERNA E PROCESSO PARA OBTENÇÃO DE VÁLVULA PARA MOTORES DE COMBUSTÃO INTERNA". A presente invenção refere-se a uma válvula (1) para motores de combustão interna, em que pelo menos uma região da válvula (1) compreende uma camada endurecida (10) com elevada dureza e tensão residual de compressão superficiais, além de elevada dureza e tensão residual de compressão na profundidade da espessura da camada endurecida (10), conferindo excelente resistência à fadiga com consequente aumento da resistência à microcorrosão por pite, proporcionando excelente durabilidade à válvula (1).
