A presente invenção descreve processos alternativos de obtenção de nanopartículaspoliméricas (N) biocompatíveis e biodegradáveis, a partir de um polímero natural, nãotóxico e renovável, proveniente do mesocarpo de babaçu (Orbignya sp) granulado (1),por meio de técnicas de diálise (E1a - E5a) e de nanoprecipitação (E1b - E5b), a partirdas quais são obtidas nanopartículas poliméricas (N), que serão empregadas emsetores como o de biotecnologia, química e farmacêutico, para o uso na imobilizaçãode biomoléculas, como enzimas, peptídeos e hormônios; e de moléculas comofármacos, corantes e conservantes.
