Abstract
A presente patente de invenção consiste em um processo de revestimento de titânio (Ti) e dióxido de titânio (TiO2) via plasma, com uso de gaiola catódica em ferramentas de corte diamantadas. Este processo garante o revestimento do diamante sem alterar sua composição química, pois a temperatura de trabalho é bem menor que a temperatura de grafitização. Os parâmetros de execução do processo são: a) Temperatura - 620K a 824K; b) Hidrogênio - 0,000299 m³/min a 0,000354 m³/min; c) Nitrogênio ? 0,000104 m³/min a 0,000115 m³/min; d) Pressão ?107Pa a 120Pa. O presente processo destina-se ao uso nas indústrias de produção de ferramentas de corte.
