Abstract

RESISTÊNCIA ELÉTRICA PARA APARELHOS DE AQUECIMENTO DE ÁGUA. A presente invenção refere-se a uma resistência elétrica (20) para uso em aparelhos elétricos de aquecimento de água com seção transversal não circular, particularmente uma resistência elétrica (20) formada a partir de uma chapa (31) de material resistivo, alongada e delgada, sendo aplicado um revestimento em pelo menos uma porção de superfície (21, 22, 23, 24) da resistência elétrica (20), o revestimento (34) sendo composto por pelo menos um material que torna a porção de superfície (21, 22, 23, 24) da resistência elétrica (20) hidrofílica, ou seja, atrativa à absorção de água, propriedade essa que confere à resistência elétrica (20) excelente eficiência térmica.
