Abstract
Um sistema de proteção contra gelo inclui uma superfície da aeronave e uma calha definida na superfície da aeronave entre os trilhos levantados. A calha inclui uma boca que se estreita numa porção de fuga da calha. A boca é configurada para canalizar regatos residuais de água para a porção de fuga da calha. A calha pode ser uma primeira calha dentre uma pluralidade de calhas lado a lado, cada uma das quais inclui uma respectiva boca que se estreita numa respectiva porção de fuga, em que as calhas são separadas umas das outras pelos respectivos trilhos.
