Dita curva de posicionamento (1) é dotada de uma região de deslocamento (2), a qual separa uma região de conexão anterior (3) de uma região de conexão posterior (4), sendo que a região de conexão anterior (3) é responsável por receber o registro (R), enquanto que a região de conexão posterior (4) é responsável por receber uma das tubulações (T1 ou T2).
