Abstract

A presente invenção refere-se a um aparelho usado para a usinagem da superfície externa circunferencial de uma peça de trabalho cilíndrica. O aparelho de usinagem inclui um suporte de ferramenta; o suporte é giratório sobre um primeiro eixo de rotação. Um rolo de formação é suportado no suporte de ferramenta de modo a ser giratório sobre um segundo eixo de rotação. O segundo eixo de rotação é paralelo ao eixo central do orifício cilíndrico da peça de trabalho. O rolo de formação tem um diâmetro que é menor do que um diâmetro do orifício cilíndrico da peça de trabalho. As ferramentas de corte são adaptadas para formar a pluralidade de reentrâncias macroscópicas na superfície circunferencial externa que define o orifício cilíndrico da peça de trabalho.
