A rede de LEDs é disposta no substrato e está arranjada em uma pluralidade de fileiras de LED e uma pluralidade de colunas de LED. A cobertura de luz está posicionada sobre a rede de LEDs e inclui uma rede de elementos ópticos. Cada elemento óptico está alinhado substancialmente com um LED.
